A commission piece for a family whose daughter and son-in-law are stationed with the USAF in Japan, just like we were.  It makes me smile to know that my art is now back in Japan, the country that inspired me with its breathtaking beauty.

We found serenity and beauty beside the Ome River in Japan.  It was a challenge to capture this in paint, but the detail and dedication required for this piece launched me forward as an artist.

On our way to Mt. Fuji, our tour took us to this stunning array of waterfalls.  I carried our infant son over that bridge and down the path, while my husband followed our daughter to make sure she didn't climb down into the water.

Every view of Mt. Fuji is a magnificent experience.  I happened to catch this one from the window of our tour bus, and relived it through paint.
